unknown motor!!!

I have a Golden Motor marked MP-R270-13043957. Is this a Magic Pie II?  Connecting to a 48 volt, 15 amp source. Worked for 2 days just fine but now won't respond to 48 volt thumb throttle whuch is what it's always been on.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Getting 52 volts at the plug but it should handle that, shouldn't it? :(

Found the issue. Wiring frayed at axle. Now what? :)
