Where can I find the wiring diagram of MX36C Controller ?
« on: August 17, 2009, 08:36:10 PM »
Hello in there. Most of the experiment has been successfull so far
but there's still anoying things (like having no battery gauge on the
throttle or an almost "muted" horn).

So I'd very like to get a wiring diagram of the controller as I've not
found anything related in the forum so far (only questions in fact,
no answers).

Q : Where can I get the wiring diagram of the MX36C ?

I think the wiring diagram for the MX36C is the same as the BAC-281, 282 & 283.

Should be the same as this one
The green lead from your throttle should go to the switched +ve side of the battery for the battery gauge to work.

Thanks for the tip regarding the gauge it's actually working,
even if it's only nice to see and not really efficient. Green,
1 km, orange, 100m, red... Not especially usefull. But look
great !

The wiring schem is effectivly almost the same and you can
quite easilly find the good things to connect together. A basic
printing on the connectors would have been clever also because
even the connected functions are sometimes in different places
(like cruise / horn etc...)

Actually it works quite well. I'll send pictures as soon as I'm
satisfied. I intend to replace the bunch of wires (coming from
the front motorized wheel) by a single connector to a water
resistant box and do the same for the connector going to
battery. This way, one box, two "clip" connectors and you're
done. If you are willing to take the controller box with you, only two
connectors to unlock.
