LED Light installation on Magic Pie?
« on: April 21, 2010, 03:36:04 AM »
Is there a link or PDF that explains the procedure for installing the LED light on a Magic Pie kit?  I see how it is installed with a hub motor controller, but I cannot see how the light would be integrated into the Magic Pie wiring design.  Thanks!

Hello, In the section marked "User Guides" there is a post just about this light .. I don't know how to put it on this page but if you just click on user guides in the first "Home" page you will see the post on hooking up the light .. It has istructions for both the "Pie" and also bike with external controller ..

Hope this helps ,, Don J.

This is the diagram that Don refers to:

I think the wires on the Magic Pie's harness are Black and Brown (not Black and Red as shown).

Unfortunately some colours are easily confused when you're colour blind. ;)

You mean replace the pictures of lights, switches and fuses with squares and move them around a bit?  ;)

Those squres are connectors. this is how I think the cable should come right out of the box. Yes, this figure was based on the other, I did a long time ago while negotiating with GM for a plug and play system, so my clients would not need to make the connections.

- 24/36/48V
- Luminousity : 7200 - 8000 MCD
- Sleek design, back light similar to Lamborghini.
- Less than 2W operating power for both lights.
