Hi Ronnie,
Sorry for the delayed response but I've been struggling with some major PC problems over the past few days.
3 blinks indicates an over current fault, but I'm not sure why.
I have just been looking at your parameters and here are some suggestions which may help:
- Try setting the Number of Pole pairs to 4 instead of 5 (most of GM's HPM Motors have 8 magnets = 4 pole pairs)
- Set the Maximum phase current (A) to 210 (Phase current is usually set a lot higher than the battery current)
- Try setting the Maximum phase current duration (s) to 0.0 (I think 0.0 is the default setting)
- Set the Rated phase current (A) to 210
- Set the Battery drawn current limit (A) to 110 (or the maximum current your batteries can supply if it's lower)
- Set the Acceleration (rpm/s) to 600
- Set the Forword speed ratio (%) to 100
- Set the Default gear(0:HG 1:MG 2LG) to 0 (not sure if this makes any difference with the 3-gears disabled)
You might also want to set the
Motor overtemperature protection enable to
1:Enable so it can protect the motor from being overheated.
I hope one of these suggestions will cure the problem.
