50A fuse with my Magic Pie 3 kit

My 50 Amp fuse box.  Is this aa optional item or do they all do this?

I found one.  I guess it's a breaker for the motor.  Limits Amps.  OK.  Do I need it?  Should I install it?  Pros vs. cons

If your battery has a BMS, you shouldn't need an additional circuit breaker or an external fuse on the main battery connection, as this would introduce more areas that could be prone to possible failure.

If you keep things nice and simple, you'll reduce the possibility of problems arising at a later date as there are fewer things to go wrong.  ;)
