battery treatment

Ok, Now everything is up and running and everything seems to work fine.

But I was wondering, how bad can I treat my battery? I guess it is best that I use the battery until the bike stopes and then fully recharge it again. but what if I charge half full and then use it again? or start charging it even though it is not empty? how bad is this for the battery and are there any other risks involved in this?

since the battery was kinda expensive I want it to last for a while... :)

Allways recharge the battery after using bike no matter how little it was used.You can ride till the controller cuts out or the battery if it has a bms.

that's it? that's all I have to think about? do I have to charge even though i'm gonna use it the next or the second next day?

most other batteries lose a certain amount of charge on a daily basis. lifepo4 and lipo batteries will hold their charge for a very long time .i do about 10 miles every day and charge it every night.If I only do a few miles I wont bother to charge it at all.lifepo4 and lipo`s will give out their charge(power) right untill the controller or the battery management system(bms) cuts out.
theres no need to check the cell voltage(the bms Balanced`s them) unless you think the bike is not doing what it should.
apart from that, the life04 battery are easy to live with.
i use lipo batteries for my rc planes and thrash them all the time.as long as they are kept Balanced charged they have a happy life-lifepo4 are even better to live with than lipo batteries, and are a lot safer,take more charges and live a lot longer.

as long as the batteries do not move about ,in the case when its upside down, then it doesnt matter which way they are on the bike
