That certainly does look a lot of fun Myron, but have you managed to get the front wheels to lift off the ground when you accelerate hard on uphill sections?

Anyway, your videos clearly demonstrate the benefits of using a "selfie stick" for single handed filming videoing (I really must try harder to use the correct terminology).

Thanks guys. Its been a fun conversion. It's a blast to ride. I get stopped all the time from people who want to know what it is. 

I did have to tune down the acceleration. It was too much for pavement and wanted to throw me off even if I aggressively crouched and leaned forward. 

The selfie stick is nice because it is capable of many interesting angles on the fly. I used an old tripod leg so I can also change the 'filming' distance easily. It also easier to use when you don't  have to steer your ride with your hands.

How did you build the backwheel?

I think the back wheel is a standard 12" Smart Pie which has a cast aluminium rim, presumably a front motor was used on the rear in this particular case.

Yup. It was one of the only hubmotors I could find that I was sure would fit inside that frame and had decent specs. I chose it for the internal sinewave controller. One less thing to mount on the board somewhere.
