Hi Folks,
After only 15 years, my Honda Harmony lawn mower doesn't want to run anymore. I'm pretty sure it could easily be fixed and would run for many years more. It could be replaced with a brand new one, even.
But, I'm a crazy old fart, and I have a $400 GM battery that is certainly powerful enough to mow my lawn, if I just had an electric lawnmower……
So, how my Watts do you good people think it would take to replace a 190CC gas engine that is never run at full throttle? I'm thinking it would take a KW or so. And GM makes a 1KW motor that I think could be directly coupled to the blade with a simple adapter and a suitable motor mount.
Any thoughts? Feel free to laugh and make jokes along with your thoughts:)
