Magic PIE II USB Cable Pin Layout
« on: September 27, 2013, 05:56:58 AM »
The mini DIN plug on my USB cable is ripped away (I won't give you the details on how that happened  :) ).
The USB plug and circuit part is OK
Can someone give me the pin layout that is used in the USB cable so I can make a new DIN plug?

Would be very nice if someone could help me.
I have 4 wires  and tried the following setup but it did not work:

Red pin 6
Black pin  2
Green pin  7
white  pin 1

P200 says connect OK but cannot get settings or write settings.

Hi
as I have one (but want to sell it with my MP3 hub) I'm not able to open it just to find out. As your receive (it's a RS232 connection with only three wires needed: TX + RX+ ground) works just one pin is wrong. In case you mean the USB connection it's the same: RX seems to work but TX is wrong; Black is mostly ground, red is V+.
Hope this helps a little
