Bypassing the Battery Management System

I'm thinking of soldering a big honkin wire from D to B ?

Wouldn't unplugging the white plug do the same thing but
not do any permanent damage?

It is probably none of my business, but I'm a snoopy old fart.  Why do you want to not use the BMS?

Some of the cells are going south .So the bms kicks in to soon.This style of battery is real tough to replace the cells. Just trying to use'em till they drop.

Not sure if I would do that. Looks to me that would be a direct connection from positive to negative. I have bypassed the BMS on a few of those batteries. If you can wait a bit I'll look at how I did it and get back to this thread later today.

My understanding is that the battery is wired like the attached, and that the connector
mentioned earlier is labeled "to bms" in the picture.

Shorting across the BMS shorts across all the cells.
