"Half speed and double the distance" - here do you compare 2x24V10Ah with a single 48V10Ah? As for the power/energy (V*I*dt), it's the same in both configuration. So, the double distance comes instead of the double speed? As we decrease the operation voltage and increase the battery capacity, will the range be increased as well?

BTW, as for the simulator, 24V system consumes twice more current than the 48V one. So, the 2*24V10Ah gives the same distance as the 48V10Ah one. Again, this is according to the simulator...

On the same conditions (speed/road/etc), the 24V system will consume twice current comparing it to the 48V system (the same vehicle, the only difference is the battery). So, it seems that in the speed of 2x24V10A system, the 48V10Ah system will cover the same distance (in ideal).
Correct me if I'm wrong.

For simulator 2*24V10Ah system is not the same as the 48V10Ah. I use average efficiency curve and:
- for 2*24V10Ah system and 23 kmh speed, effeciency is 77% and power consumption: 8,83 Wh/km:

This is due to the efficiency curve of the engine, at least that it looked like the theory.
In practice, it is difficult to check without proper equipment. Maybe in the vicinity of the spring, I finish my mini-testbenches then I can confirm these assumptions

Not quite sure what is confusing here. Maybe look at it this way.

Voltage = Speed.
Amp Hours = Distance.
