How do you adjust power setings on the MPIII without a cable? I have the cycle analyst...but cannot make heads nor tails of the booklet that came with everything.
Thanx!
Without knowing which Cycle Analyst you have it is difficult to answer. Lollandster pointed you to my CA3 info. If you have version 2.xx you need to look at this link.
http://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=2420.msg13626#msg13626This is a summary and discussion about when we first figured out the CA2. It was summarized from another thread here.
http://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=1490.msg9978#msg9978The link takes you to the post where I declared Success!. Keep in mind this was with a CA v211. The circuit board was a lot bigger then. The board on the CA v2.3 is tiny and pretty tricky to solder on unless you have some previous skill. I ruined a CA v2.3 just before I went to CA3 on My bike. This is going back in time a bit. I was using a PRO901 kit back then on a JOYeBike. So be careful when we discuss throttle wire colours! Boy that sure seems like a long time ago now
But this is where I nailed it with some good advise from Alan, No surprise there
You will have to scroll back a bit to see the conversation develop. Actually to read this thread from the beginning is quite interesting. I remember it went on for quite a while. That is one draw back on long threads in the forum, topics wander and are hard to find again. To find this one to a bit of searching.
This actually reminds me of how things were back then. I was not as busy as today and did enjoy experimenting. People would post in the forum "has anyone tried one of these with one of that?" When no one would reply, off I went to my stock and started testing stuff. I was like a guinea pig under influence from the forum. I learned a lot back then
Another thing I recall building was my dual drive 902 bike that no one had seemed to try before.

Also Duck did a pretty good job here with the CA2 and MP3.
