Regen on BAC Controller
« on: January 20, 2009, 10:55:06 PM »

The New BAC controllers seem to work fine.

It does not appear to be doing REGEN.

I imagine that there must be a jumper to one of the
un-named pins to enable regen.

Anyone know?

Tom?

We haven't designed this regen function into this New BAC controller.
If need this function,it is easy to do.

We first need steady capability of this New BAC controller.

We think we want to be successful on business. We must make sure our products are very well. It's very important.

Hi Tom:

If that is so, Why do you sell it as regenerative breaking capability?????

Be carefull with the way you sell your products, because if you say you sell something, it is very annoying to find out it is not what you expected, in some countries this is forbidden by law.

I was about to buy one of those but if it is not Regen then I will pass. Maybe it is not 50A either? If things are advertised they need to meet the specifications the add states. Plainly this is a very deceptive advertisement.  TOM If it's not ready yet then it should NOT BE INCLUDED in the add! Nor should the controller be described and sold as something it is not. Or did we interpret your reply incorrectly?

The magic controller in fact does have regen.

To activate it you have to pull the power brake(s).

There is a slight lag before it kicks in and it is only really effective at high speeds.

Why regen function not work while 15km/h to 0km/h speed?
Do you solve this on Pie?
