Two Vs. One Brake
« on: October 06, 2011, 07:34:58 PM »
Just wondering if people install both brakes or single? In the case both brakes are installed, you would not have an option of braking without regen. for example, if you have front wheel installation, you would not have option of braking without front wheel braking (through regen). rear brake would still make front wheel brake.

So far I have been only using one brake, and on the wheel MP is installed. What is your experience?

I have hydraulic disc brakes, so the mechanical levers that came with the kit are of no use to me.

I won't need a horn, so I used that switch to connect to regen braking.

My idea is that I can gently brake & regen (rear wheel installation) with my thumb using the horn button, but in case I do need to stop quickly, I can use my brakes.
