How to desactivate the regen + motor resistance
« on: March 11, 2011, 02:35:57 PM »
Hi,

I own a Magic Pie for several months. I like this motor but sometimes I want to ride with my wife without battery.
In that case the motor has an internal resistance.

Do someone knows if it is possible to remove this resistance ?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately the resistance is caused my the magnets inside the motor and therefore cannot be eliminated without removing either the magnets or the stator/winding assembly.

Just like the GM geared minimotors, the Ezee has an internal freewheel mechanism which allows the wheel to turn in a forward direction without having to turn the motor assembly, making it easier to pedal.
