sensorless controller with the Goldenmotor
« on: December 21, 2007, 06:55:54 PM »
Hello,
For those who are, like I am, fed up with burning sensors, here is a solution, although I am not totally satisfied with it.
I was told that a pedal-first controller would work with my Goldenmotor. So I ordered one at ebikes.ca. Now I have mounted it on my bike, and it works. But I am really disappointed, because my bike is not even half as powerful at is used to be, although the controller has the same power (36V - 20A) than the original one.
It hardly reaches 15 mph on the flat, and can not climb a 4-5 % hill without pedaling.
Maybe there is an explanation, and further, a solution ? Thank you.
