I am rebuilding my e-scooter. The scooter had no power and no range.
I got it second hand.
The max speed was 40 km/H and the range was 25 KM.
Old hub motor.
New one the Goldenmotor MW16C
The Controller is the HPC100B 72 V
The battery 60V 18AH lead acid.
The new battery I ordered from sky energy is 60V 60AH Lifepo4.(not arrived yet)
The scooter is already very powerfull even with the poor 60V 18AH lead acid battery.
I have one question.
The manual for the HPC100B read about (regenerative) braking.
http://goldenmotor.com/BLDC%20Motor%20Controller%20for%20HPM5000B.pdfFrom The manual in red
At the alive state, when the FWD button is on, the rotation of motor will be in CCW (look into
the motor shaft).
When the REV Button is on, the motor will be in CW.
If the FWD & REV button is both on and off, the motor can not run or will brake. In the same manual there is a diagram with a FWD/REV button and a brake button.
I have tested the two buttons "on/on" "off/off" "on/off" and "off/on" but the motor would not brake.
Is there a way to regen. brake with the HPC100B?
Is there some information about the PD100 ?
