Very slow motor
« on: April 16, 2014, 06:55:53 PM »
Only 5% power from full trottle?

When I startled my bike today, it barely moved?
When I gave full trottle it was the same as if I just gave it minimal trottle.
But when giving 100% trottle the power came (the little that came) as if linjer to the amount a pushed the trottle.

I checked the USB settings but nothing wrong, the problem could have been like the Max power was set to 5% or something?

Hi andto the forum.

It would help if you could give us a few more details:

Did the motor run at normal speed before today? If so, has anything been altered since it last ran correctly?

Does the wheel rotate freely by hand, or is it binding?

Does it sound noisy like it's straining and working hard?

What motor do you have and does it have an internal or external controller? If external, what controller is fitted?

What is the battery type, capacity (Ahs) and voltage?

It might also help if you can post a screenshot of the actual controller parameter settings too.

Hi again
Its a MP 3 internal controller, 48v 10ampH thumb trottle.

I havent checked if the wheel is moving by hand.
But when the bike is standing still, and I give full trottle it just jerks a bit, I have to lift the back wheel to get the wheel spinning.

The night before it worked just fine, and I had it in my locked garage over night...

I rode the bike by pedal, and it did not sound any strange.

I will try to find a new trottle today and see it thats the problem!

How is the warranty working? I got my kit from goldenmotor in china?

Sorry for my short post, but my poor english is stoppning me from wrighting a novel :-)

I have had a customer that had this issue before. Only one out of many, many customers so this is vary rare. Every once in a while the controller would lose its programming. I have no idea why. A replacement controller solved the issue.
