Im new at this, but have spent some hours reading this forum. I have ordered a JoyEbike with a magicpie motor and PAS. After reading I found out that better let the pros build it and the price for a whole new bike not so much more as all the parts needed for a DIY.
I have a question about regen breaking. I understand its a way for regenerating the battery.
How does this work? Do I have to press a button or what?
I have an el-bike, and its like riding a normal bicycle(live in Europe so tiny motor, tiny everything and PAS).
With regen breaking, I need to hit the brakes differently?
In short; I understand what regen braking means, but not how it works. Not the technical part, but the "what do I do?"-part. Isnt it a normal braking?
Might be my lack off Englishskills. I live in Norway, and ordered 48V batteries and PAS so nobody should know what they
where looking at.
