Well, to beat a dead horse just a little more:
I have a manual reset thermal breaker.
My goal is to protect the motor, I would rather have the breaker pop
to tell me (or any of the guest riders) back off a little when drawing over
to the motor limit than to push the motor.
I live at the top of a heck of a hill, I can easily overheat stuff, so I have
to pedal my fat,,, well, you know.
The knowledge of an impending pop is enough to make me pedal instead of being lazy.
