Hello. I just purchased a second Photon kit and 52v battery for my wife’s Catrike Dumont. I installed the first kit on my Dumont and it is working perfectly! I have a 2016 KHS mountain bike that was converted to electric by Luna Cycle. That bike is still running great with a Bafang BBSHD motor but I am loving the trike/photon combo way way more.
Here is my newbie question: I notice that the CYC Ride Control app works but has some difficulty staying connected. It quickly reconnects so the app is still functional. Just wondering what might be causing this since my iPhone is only a couple feet from the motor/controller. I even held it next to the speed sensor because I was wondering if the bluetooth chip was located in the sensor body. What led me to think this is the 7-pin cable from the sensor to the motor. Usually speed sensors are only 3-pin.
