Hi and
to the forum.
In order to help with your problem it would be helpful to know which hubmotor you have, and also whether it is new or old.
If it's a new Magic Pie or Smart Pie, it could be that the ends of the unused Blue
(Reverse) and Black
(Ground) wires on the motor harness are exposed and touching against each other:
If it is not a new motor, some earlier versions of the Magic Pie were wired so that the switch on the throttle would engage the Reverse function when pressed in. Try operating the switch and see if it helps.
If it is not the throttle switch, or the Black and Blue wires joined together, then another possibility may be that the wrong controller/firmware has inadvertently been installed.
