The calculation is correct, what is confusing?

Two 24V10AH batteries in parallel gives you 24V20AH. Half speed and double the distance
"Half speed and double the distance" - here do you compare 2x24V10Ah with a single 48V10Ah? As for the power/energy (V*I*dt), it's the same in both configuration. So, the double distance comes instead of the double speed? As we decrease the operation voltage and increase the battery capacity, will the range be increased as well?

BTW, as for the simulator, 24V system consumes twice more current than the 48V one. So, the 2*24V10Ah gives the same distance as the 48V10Ah one. Again, this is according to the simulator...

On the same conditions (speed/road/etc), the 24V system will consume twice current comparing it to the 48V system (the same vehicle, the only difference is the battery). So, it seems that in the speed of 2x24V10A system, the 48V10Ah system will cover the same distance (in ideal).
Correct me if I'm wrong.

For simulator 2*24V10Ah system is not the same as the 48V10Ah. I use average efficiency curve and:
- for 2*24V10Ah system and 23 kmh speed, effeciency is 77% and power consumption: 8,83 Wh/km:
( http://www.electricbikesimulator.com/index.html?language=en&outs=1&voltageIn=24&capacityIn=20&torqueIn=30&speedIn=23&electricIn=25&efficiencyIn=82&rimIn=26 )

- for 48V10Ah system and 23 kmh speed, effeciency is 82% and power consumption: 8,24 Wh/km:
( http://www.electricbikesimulator.com/index.html?language=en&outs=1&voltageIn=48&capacityIn=10&torqueIn=30&speedIn=45&electricIn=25&efficiencyIn=82&rimIn=26 )

This is due to the efficiency curve of the engine, at least that it looked like the theory.
In practice, it is difficult to check without proper equipment. Maybe in the vicinity of the spring, I finish my mini-testbenches then I can confirm these assumptions

@Just @MP3FP

Not quite sure what is confusing here. Maybe look at it this way.

Voltage = Speed.
Amp Hours = Distance.

After a long battle with the update page, I launched a new functionality:

1. Calculator battery capacity and engine power: http://www.electricbikesimulator.com/calculator.php?language=en
The calculator allows you to estimate what should be the minimum parameters of the drive to achieve the assumed speed and range of an electric bike.

2. Catalogue of companies and drives: http://www.electricbikesimulator.com/drives.php?speed=35&range=30&weight=111&voltage=36&power=472&energy=404&energy=11.2&language=en&sort=1&keywords=&s1=35&s2=&np1=472&np2=&pp1=&pp2=&v1=36&v2=&c1=&c2=&e1=&e2=&t1=&t2=&ah1=11.2&ah2=&wh1=404&wh2=&type=&type2=&country=&sG=35&rG=30&wG=111&pG=472&eG=404&calcG=1
Application for dealers or manufacturers of electric motors for bicycles who can put information about your company and drives. Register and add drives - free.

3. All application are interconnected.
With the calculator capacity and engine power, we receive proposals from the catalog drives that meet the established criteria, and clicking on a specific drive turns driving simulator and range of its parameters memorized.
