Title: How fast is the 750 watt brushless hub motor?
Post by: Barry on June 10, 2009, 11:14:50 AM
How fast is the 750 watt brushless hub motor? My front wheel hub will do a maximum of 43 km/h holding the wheel off the ground and thus no resistance. Should I expect more speed?

I am using a 10 Ah, LiFePO4 and the GM BAC0281 controller.

Hi,

I get around 65km/h with the wheel off the ground - I have a 36V 750W motor and the 48V 1000W BAC0281 & I have a 48V20aH LiFePO4 ping battery

My max speed riding has been 54km/h down hill and 49km/h on roughly flat.

Thanks Philip,

I suppose my speed may be normal considering I am using a 36v 10Ah battery and the BAC0281 for the 36v system.

Anyone using the 750W motor with the 36v battery?
