Title: What connector is this?
Post by: Cosmitz on June 22, 2024, 02:23:10 PM
This is a relatively quick one, i'm working on connecting to a new TCMAX using the VEC300/HC3X controller and I found most of all the information I need EXCEPT what plug is that. From initial pictures I thought it was a 6pin atx-style plug but it's much smaller. Pic related.

Hi Cosmitz and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.

After studying the picture it looks as if the required plug might be a Molex Micro-fit 3.0 connector Pt. No: 43025-0600 (https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/Molex/43025-0600?qs=mrPiglD9aYJrq7XWj%2FGMFg%3D%3D).

Check out the pdf drawing (https://www.molex.com/content/dam/molex/molex-dot-com/products/automated/en-us/salesdrawingpdf/430/43025/430250600_sd.pdf) to see if the dimensions match your controller's connector.

Thank you, that's exactly it. I happened upon a 8pin microfit connector in a dell workstation at work right now as I was losing my mind and it looked the right size, sadly the keying is not compatibile with 6 pin even if I chop 2 pins off. At least it's been confirmed as to what's needed, now just need to find a matching connector on the local market and I can finally get this rolling and activate regenerative  breaking on my TC Max. This has all been more learning than I signed up for to save 30 bucks. :)
