Title: Magic pie 5 error 9 in the mornings

I have a Magic Pie 5 less than 12 months old and it is showing the error 9 code in the mornings. I have to wait an hour or 2 and try again and it works. Very strange error

Hi Tim,

Are you still using the same controller that was only giving half speed (https://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=7104.msg38626#msg38626) back in January,or is it a new controller?

Have you tried turning off the battery, unplugging the display unit and then powering up again to see if the motor runs with the display disconnected?

If the motor doesn't run with the display disconnected (and the +5V supply is still OK) then it is probably a controller fault.
