Title: Getting it to run...
Post by: redbaron on April 17, 2009, 05:12:11 PM
Hi,

I just received my 48V1000W GM setup. I installed the wheel and rigged all the components up on the bench to test the unit. Batteries are loaded and connected. Breaks, throttle, horn/reverse, motor, hall, all connected. Turn the throttle. Nothing.

Now troubleshooting starts. But where. I have a PAS (pedelec) sensor in my box but I did not connect it. COuld that be it?
Or is there a sequence of initial push/pull/hold, double push or whatever that you need to do to initiate the controller?
Or is it locked because of an alarm?

how to diagnose? I have seen the flowchart and the the most recent FAQ but they are silent to this issue...

You could read our schematics drawing,especially 3D,it will help you.

Or you could take a photo with your wire how to connect?

Dirk;

Can you snap a pic of how you hooked up your wires and post them here?

Close up of the speed controller connections will help alot.
