Title: Using rim brakes on 20 inch aluminum cast rims

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and new to the use of golden motor products.  I'm currently converting a Sidewalker Willy to an electric commuting machine (I live in a hilly area).  I've purchased a 20 inch Magic Pie 5 with an aluminum cast rim and it does not appear to have much of a surface area to use with rim brakes (something like one-quarter of an inch).  Has anyone attempted to use rim brakes with this motor and were you successful?
