Title: Mounting GM Li battery pack.

I tried mounting on rear rack, but the rack is not stable and I think it will break off the mounting points (of the rack).
I would like some details of how others mounted their battery pack. thanks, chester.

ps. I recently bought a 2004 Kona Stinky downhill mountain bike with dual suspension and my next project will be to electrify it to a 48v system with appox 1000-1500watts for offroad use. I want to somehow mount the battery within the frame to have the weight in the middle for balance.

The problem is that it can't be rigid.

My batteries have a layer of foam between them and the
battery box.

That eliminates the major shock of small bumps, but I am
now looking for something that will give me more shock
absorber.  Something similar to the springer front-fork
on motorcycles.
