Hi, I'm a new user hoping someone on this forum can help me.
I'm using a 3KW BLDC Golden motor with a JETI Spin Pro 200 Opto motor controller.

The motor spins up ok, but when I apply even a little bit of load to it, it stalls.
The motor is not drawing excessive current and the voltage to the controller does not dip significantly. I think the problem is likely my motor controller configuration. Does anyone know how many polls this motor has, and what its frequency and timing specs should be?
Any other suggestions or advice for how to fix this problem would be appreciated!

Hi Justin and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.
I'm pretty sure that the 3kW motor has 8 poles (4 pole pairs) just like the 5kW motor:

Unfortunately I have no idea what its frequency and timing specs should be.

Thank you! That's a start.

After setting my controller to 8 poles, the motor still stalls under any load. It will run under no load, though. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
