Post by: Guyblat on October 10, 2015, 03:40:10 PM
What should my minimum discharge current be for a MP5?
10a?
15a?
20a?
30a?
more?
I'm trying to buy a LiFePo4 battery, and it's asking me.
Thanks

I would suggest that the battery should have a continuous discharge current rating of at least 10~15 Amps and a peak discharge current rating of at least 30 Amps.

If the peak discharge current was less than 30 Amps, you would need to reduce the "Battery drawn current (A)" setting in the controller to avoid overloading the battery.
