Title: Magic Pie 5 white connector?

I have a simple question. What is the white connector closest to the MP5 motor used for, and if I don't need it, how do I water-proof it? (See picture?)

That connector is for the pedelec sensor to plug into:

If you are not using the GM pedelec sensor I suggest you simply tape it up with some black electrical insulation tape to keep it clean and dry.
