May I present my two EVs - Apotheosis (blue) and Endurance. Both use the Magic Pie III, with SLA and Lithiums. An outstanding school project that supports STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, art and math). It also addresses Common Core and NextGen Science standards.

Those cars looks great, but I would prefer to use handlebars and a twist throttle for a more comfortable feel. Putting a longer drop arm on the steering tube would reduce the movement if necessary, but the steering might be a bit too sensitive as it doesn't appear to have any castor angle built in.
The handlebars could incorporate an instrument panel which would obviously be angled to to face directly at the driver's eye position.

I would also want to put four motors on it to make it accelerate faster too, but that's just me. ;D
Did you purchase the hardware kit or make everything from scratch?
Anyway, I must say that you appear to have made a very good job of them.

Hi Ed,
I love the "wheelie bars" on the blue one! Great sense of humor:) What wall thickness PVC did you use? How heavy is it? ( are they)
Hey, Alan, I generally would agree with you about more power is more better, but are you sure you would want to go faster with that steering geometry?

Dennis, they are stabilisers to stop it rolling over sideways, not wheelie bars to prevent it flipping over backwards. ::)
I thought you had already discovered what happens when you corner a three wheeler too fast with a high centre of gravity.
Regarding the extra power, I just enjoy going up steep hills as fast as I can down them. ;)
