Title: New (new) Smart Pie kit wiring diagram question
Post by: Sysimbrium on March 20, 2014, 07:43:40 AM
Hi!

We got Smart Pie kit, but not the regular type.
My question is, what is this New Smart Pie wiring diagram? Because is not the same with Magic Pie III.

Hi and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.

It looks like GM have revised the wiring harness for some reason, as they have changed from an eight pin connector to a ten pin connector, perhaps additional functions are going to be incorporated?

I'm sure it must be programmable, but it looks like it might need a new type of USB interface lead or perhaps an adapter cable to make it compatible with the earlier program lead?

I'll make some inquiries and see what I can find out.

GM have just informed me that the harness you have replaced the old style harness about a year ago, so I'm surprised this has not been queried before.

If you need to alter the factory programmed settings you will need to purchase the correct programming lead from GM.
