Title: Pie 3 26 inch tyre recommendation required

Hi All,

Bought a cheap cruiser tyre 26 x 1.5 However, after about 500kms the tyre is out of shape and uneven on the rim. The wheel is pretty much in true.   Perhaps I should use a 26 x 2.1 as I have a thick slim thorn resistant inner tube.  I have a 26 pie 3 on the rear.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

i'm using a continental 47/559 TourRide punture protection.
this is a very good deal for your money. (personal opinion)
i'ts got deep profile and very rigid.

for stability and longrunning performance I prefer my Schwalbe Marathon plus 26*1,75. 20.000km are normal for that tyre ( I change mine every year as winter and granular wears a lot)
