Title: Universal MP3/SP Controller or Original Magic Pie 3 Internal Controller

Hello all

My internal MP3 controller is toast...

There seems to be 2 choices for the replacement:

Universal MP3/SP Controller
Original Magic Pie 3 Internal Controller

The one I am replacing is of the Original type.

I was just wondering if;
a) The Universal will fit (the name suggests it should!)
b) The Universal is a better replacement (more robust?) as they are both the same price?

Any help much appreciated.

The new universal controllers are compatable with all MP III and Smart Pies. Basically this is the 4th generation of this controller and is the most compatible. The first was for the original MP III motors. The second for the Smart pies. The third for the Smart Pies and the newer MP III motors.now this one that fits everything. I can not say if this controller is more powerful, more reliable, etc. They are too new to judge. All I can say is the few I have sent out are still working. I should also mention they are not the same price. They cost me more so I have to pass that on.
