Title: leather and electric bicycles
Post by: atcspaul on July 23, 2013, 03:00:39 PM
the 21mm wrench, tube and other things you want to carry finding the right bag is kinda hard if not impossible. I did leather carving when I was in my was in high school, I am in my mid 50's now, anyway I figured what the heck, to get what I want I will have to make it myself. the bag is for the handle bars, my 21mm wrench, tube, pump, all my tools, a sandwhich and a few cold drinks will fit it in it. the skulls are snaps to keep it closed. the dragon I hand carved. I am really happy with the results. next I will make my battery bag and also I custom seat is in the future. the leather is over 1/8'" thick and should last a lifetime. I don't know about you all but it seemed I was sewing or replacing my canvas bags every time I turned around.

thanks guys, now I am debating what to make next. I am really happy with the results. if we had a winter here I would make lots of stuff but I am to busy outside playing. I put over 6,000 miles on the Magic Pie. they are great little motors

OK so you ready to "Talk Turkey!" yet?

I need a roll bag for my chopper.

Something similar to your first bag. But with different dimensions and straps of course. I can certainly trade product with you. I have a big pile of it :)

If your up to it and feel we can work out something good for both of us I can PM you or you can send me an email . I hate PM's but I don't think I have your email address.

Be for warned though. If things go well I'll be looking for some large saddle bags in the future :)

I would love to see something like that with a saddle going over
the back rack and support rings on the bottom of the frame arm.

The straps would go through loops to make it fit different bikes,
and then fold back on themselves, maybe to a buckle (not shown.

That would let you put your batteries low on the sides.
