Hi! About the Magic Pie 3, what is the maximum rpm this motor can turn without damaging the motor?
Like say I combine a Magic Pie 3 motor with a gasoline engine.....and the MP3 motor can only run up to 60kph........if say the gas engine can propel the whole bike to 100kph, will this damage the MP3 motor?

Although the motor itself can easily withstand 804rpm, I suspect that the controller would probably die at just over half this speed due to the residual voltage being generated by the motor, which increases proportionally with speed.
If you had an external controller, you could simply disconnect the phase wires when you wanted to exceed 402rpm (~50kph on a 26" x 2.00" tyre).
