Title: Question about MBG36F Mini Front Motor

Hi, hello electric people im new here, this is my bicycle:

which im planning to convert in electric assisted.
so I want to know how easy is to wire MBG36F, 250W, since I have limited electric knowledge. im gonna build simple DC circuit with two 12v batteries connected in series, on off switch and this motor. if this motor has + and - wires connection im gonna be able to do it. I want to know before I buy it. I don't wanna buy something I can't wire :)

I was unable to see the picture of your bike as the link does not appear to be working.

Unfortunately it's not quite as simple as connecting two wires from the motor to a battery. ???
This motor is a brushless motor and requires a separate speed controller to convert the constant DC battery voltage into a variable three phase AC output which powers the motor.

The motor has eight wires (three thick and five thin) that connect directly to the speed controller:

The controller connects to the battery with two thick wires, but also connects to the throttle, brake and cruise/horn switch (and also to the pedelec sensor and a horn if fitted).

It is a Magic Pie 2 external hookup. But using the same controller. I think the only difference is you won't need reverse.

thanks for replies really appreciate it. but I think im gonna give up this setup since everything become much more complicated then my initial idea. im gonna try some brushed DC motor setup.
