Title: How many poles in a SmartPie?

I have just fitted my SmartPie with a Infineon controller from Lyen and since it offers a CycleAnalyst plug I converted my Cycle Analyst from a CA-SA to a CA-DP. This means I can now see the speed without a separate pickup. For this to be correct I need to know how the number of hall effect transitions per rotation of the wheel. I did try to count and I got to 20, but I would like to get the real answer or get my counting confirmed.

I have just been studying photos of the Smart Pie and it has exactly five magnets between each pair of cover fixing holes.
As there are eight fixing holes, each spanning five magnets, this means there are forty magnets in total, which would produce twenty high/low hall sensor pulses for one complete revolution of the wheel.
