My LiFePo 48 V battery finally cut out at 43VDC. Is this about normal?
The good thing is that I ran for several miles after my onboard volt meter indicated 48 VDC. So I seem to have a pretty good indicator for range, as well as a little bit of reserve to get me home.
I'll charge it today and then I'll see what kind of range it gives.

Good to know thanks. I haven't run mine out yet and i've been wondering when I could expect that. The presumption being that the BMS's in our packs are set for the same cutout voltage.

That sounds about right. I ride Lead batts and it is horrendously slow and sluggish below 46 volts. So when I get to 46 I always charge them back up.
I ran them down to 38 volts once, that was a bad idea. The lights on the throttle stayed on but any attempt to use the throttle it would cut out right away. After that ride I had a dead cell :( btw I don't run a BMS on my bike, and I never let it get that low again.
