Title: Greetings, new member

Hi everyone. I'm Doug from Toronto and I've been riding scooter style for just under a year. I've been wanting to build an open frame ebike for about six months now and I've been gathering the bits and pieces over the winter. So right now I'm just waiting on the MPIII to arive and then the fun can begin.
I'm also a member of TERA ( Toronto Electric Riders Association ) it's a good group.

hiya DOUG,  lets hope the MP3 has the amps in the controller that's promised to give you the vah vah vhoom.   fingers crossed you'll get 35amp continuous current from the new controller :)

Hi Andrew, I saw Gary Salo's pre-production MPIII built up on an Electra Townie at a meetup in Toronto back in November. I don't recall if it was in the dual drive format at that time but I watched one of the guys take off on it for a test drive and he certainly had a big grin on his face.
Anyhow not long to wait now!
