Hello everyone,

I purchased the following from Golden Motor China:

Model: MW16C -- High Power Motor (Brushless/Gearless)
Voltage:48V
Power Rate:2000W-3000W
Weight: 9.5Kgs

What controller will work for this?????

Greatly appreciated!

Hi Ray and(https://i.imgur.com/evDSMvT.png)to the forum.

Erik used the HPC100B controller on his MW16C when he carried out his scooter conversion (http://goldenmotor.com/SMF/index.php?topic=1669.msg8365#msg8365) but I think that controller has since been superseded by the HPC300A (visit the GM Website (http://www.goldenmotor.com) for more details).

If you decide to purchase an HPC300A, be very careful with the wiring, as there are discrepancies with some of the wiring diagrams which has cause some real problems recently.

I suggest you choose a controller that can withstand at least 150Amps, as Erik's motor consumed 135Amps @ 60V under acceleration! :o
