Congrats, those statistics you gave us are great! Good to know the Pie can go that far, and handle a guy who eats 1000 big macs haha.

Good going Ginge, I can't recall any pictures of the bike. Lets see it!

I think he only posted one picture that I can recall, but that was back in February when he was running dual Pies:

Ohhh the Donkey !!
A bike of love.... I always wondered what or who Ginge keeps in his panniers!
And does the front wheel want to lift? I am also curious what your pedal to ground height is Mr. Ginge

Ahhh now I remember. The bike with the huge bags. I think one side is for honey wine, the other for big macs and the top one for indian food!

hi guys...
you know what, its 1000's more miles since then, and I even admit I became a non electric roadie in the meantime, I mean, healthy 200 miles per week manual cyclist :)
3 sets bearings, 2 wiring harnesses...tried 4 other motors, 3 controllers, only 1 wife though...
When all is said and done, I do always return to the pie......geared motors are too noisy, high power geared motors constantly have you on edge for that pothole that makes you rev the throttle by accident, too much heat ?, too many amps ?, sounds like a dentist drill etc., new clutch needed, etc etc etc...don't get me wrong, they all have their place in the world, however
but for real relaxing powerful non tech fault commuting, I just come back to my pie ( but I use a lyen controller ;) )
must be nearly 8000 miles now :)

All I have to say is ..... you are a martyr to the cause. Were you visited by angels like Joan of Arc? Well if not you should still be sainted for your efforts. The years of the donkey have past let the years of the phoenix begin!
