Take care gary, fraud is rife, especially with comments like "will you ship to....."
if paid by paypal, I would insist on shipment after at least 3 days of cleared funds....i lost a bundle when paypal "reversed" a cleared transaction after 2 days,..no protections
-
Thanks for the advice. I'm a little leary of it myself, but I thought I would give it a shot.

No real price differences to GM China, but you actually have product support, warranty and you answer questions in this forum. And probably communicate via email too.
My next order will be from you! :)
Feels silly to have products shipped from China to Canada and then to Europe, but if that's what it takes to get customer support, I'm not complaining.

Hi JS
I would have no hesitation recomending gary to you :), I have not spent a penny in china.....but have total faith in canada :)
As for ebay Gary, yes I think its a good avenue for you, as its the first stop for everyone who sees an electric bike and wants to buy one....just bear in mind that if you are helpful and trusting on ebay, your going to be getting a lot of part time jobs to balance the books
I insisted on shipping 3-5 days after cleared paypal funds and have had no problem since, and did a lot of selling on ebay, but the amount of people/bots trying to scam you is hard to believe....insist that quality has a price, you have your terms and conditions etc....better to lose 5 potential sales with people than lose 1 kit in fraud......

Thanks for that Ginge, I just picked up a case of "pops" on the way home and when I arrived the Wife just had two pizzas delivered. Looks like a great start to a long weekend here in Canada. Going to an Ebike Meetup on Holiday monday as well, WooHoo!!

Gary, your items are not found when searching for "Golden Motor" or "Magic Pie" on eBay.co.uk, was this intentional?
I can find them when searching on eBay.com though. ;)

Ohhh I hate that, there must be something a checkbox maybe to select that makes it available to international.
I usually look on ebay.com then use .com.au to compare its sooo annoying!!
It changed about 2 years ago, but when you could find what you wanted you couldn't buy it and it had a message like "this seller does not sell to your country" or something harsh like that. So I think the change was maybe for the better :)
Gary you need to enable some box or most likely pay a higher premium listing lol
-
Thanks Alan and MM.
Its not intentional, Ill look at them again. I have already edited each listing about 5 times trying to get them right :)
I also was thinking I started the opening bids to low. I assumed people would bid it up to a more reasonable price. I guess people don't bid untill the last minute as there are quite a few watchers on each item.
Oh well, maybe some people will get really great deals :) Lesson learned for me :(

If anyone is looking to buy a 16", 18" or 26" rear Magic Pie, Gary has already said, "Some people will get really great deals", so why not let it be you?
There's still time to place a bid and hopefully pick up a real bargain, if you're very lucky (sorry Gary), so check out Gary's eBay listings (http://shop.ebay.ca/golden_motor_canada/m.html?) before it's too late.

Gary, you seem to have sorted it, but the eBay search engine is still doing some weird things; when I searched for "Golden Motor" in "All Categories", it didn't find any of your listings, but if I selected "Sporting Goods", it found all of them. ???

I didn't change anything, there are no options other then ship domestic and ship international. I said yes to both. Seems eBay's indexing is a huge monstrous mess.
Like Alan said, Magic pies at this price is a steal! Don't miss your chance.

Gary;
I see you are not offering batteries.
Too much government?
-
Unfortunately the profits and shipping costs on batteries make it impossible to put them on sale. I do however have deluxe kit sales sometimes that include a kit , battery, lights, disk brake, freewheel, etc

Ok my first attempt at using eBay was interesting.
I must admit I got kind of caught up in it when I had three identical items ending within only a few minutes of each other. I was sitting there with my kids and we kept clicking refresh for the last few minutes watching the bids get higher. My kids were actually cheering at one point :) . It was quite fun.
Then 3 hours later 2 other items didn't sell. Oh well, maybe next time.
I rate it 3 out of 5 for my first attempt. Since that's what I actually sold, 3 out of 5 items.
