I propose we all post links to; helpful forums, links, or what have you, that would help all of us Newbies! 

I will start.

This forum mainly pertains to one brand and type of motor.

 has been around for a bit and has way more info although some visit both.

Seems Canadians really have a lot of good expierence with e-bikes. Check these ouit:

The first instructables link you point to is MyElectricBike, or MEB on this forum.  He hasn't been active in forever, but he essentially started this users forum.  He is also the person who put together the first installation guide for goldenmotor's e-bike kit.
