Title: Low voltage protection.
Post by: tdibertje on May 20, 2011, 05:49:11 PM
I have newly built my first e-bike. I have used a PRO 901 kit (48v version) and an LifePo4 48v, 20Ah battery from V-power. Now, in my first rides the controllers low voltage protection cut off the power after I drawn only about 7 Ah from my battery at about 48v. Is this a normal situation? The bike runs well and fast before power cut off.

Kind regards, tdibertje.

One of your cell groups is prolly low...
Charge up the battery and leave it charged overnight.
