Title: 48v regen braking controller
Post by: glenn on July 29, 2008, 10:31:05 PM
I hooked up the 48v regen controller to an 800w hub motor on a big skate board and it works great.  12 miles at 20mph on hilly terrain.

How do I change the cutoffs?  If I accelerate to hard it cuts out.

It says you can adjust settings with a usb connector but I have no documentation...

The usual problem with cut out is the batteries cannot keep up with the current draw of the motor load.   I read in an earlier thread that a programming box will be out soon for these controllers expect that is the USB you speak of.
