G'day all,
Just got myself a GM 48v 12ah battery and seat post rack. Took only 1 week to get from China to Australia with Christmas in the middle. Great job guys.
Anyway I'm now building up my bike and got it loosly slapped together today and in running order. See below:

Anyway I have one of these old controllers:

and I am trying to connect up a cycle analyst direct connect.
What I want to know is where do I connect up on the controller pcb the various wires.
For example, on the cycle analyst web site they have this picture for a crystalyte controller I think:

Something like this for the gm controller would be good.

G'day all,
Some how my account was deleted, but I'm back now. ;D
The latest is that I tried to get the direct connect cycle analyst to work, but I just couldn't. I don't know if it was because I put the wires in the wrong spots or not. But I couldn't get it to give accurate current or speed measurements. Also with the speed, once it got over a certain speed, it would just stop reading and just show 0 kph.
Anyway after all that I just went and ordered the stand alone cycle analyst. Its the latest version also. Was very easy to wire up and gives accurate current and speed readings.

Hey muzza
What the? People's accounts are dissapearing.
Hey nice ride, did you bend the rack or do they come like that now? If so, good thinkin!

Muzza, When you've had time to use the Cycle Analyst a bit more, could you let us know how the regen figures (Amps and Ahs) compare to the consumption figures, as it would be interesting to see if there is any real difference between the dedicated Regen Controller and the Cruise Controller (and Magic Pie).

I haven't been able to find out how or why several members' accounts have just disappeared, but it's good to see some of them back again already.
If anyone notices any other missing accounts, besides Leslie, GM Brazil (GM Brazil), Dirtyginge, Thomasz, Gamewinner, Ericnoort and Muzza.au, please let me know.

No I didn't bend it, thats the way it came. Must be how they come now. One thing I should note is that it came with a whole lot of bolts, nuts and washers but no instructions. I had to work it out myself. Also the washer's holes were too small for the bolts. I did file out of few but most of them I didn't use so I had to use washers I already had.

Sure thing. I'll give it few cycles to get some figures and post them here.
