Title: Any one tried MP 36/ 48v kit on a foldable ?
Post by: Yoma on December 22, 2010, 06:26:46 AM
Has any one tried the 48 or 36v for the 20 " or 16" wheels ?

I have nova downtube Im looking to add a kit too but im too strapped right now for the fancy ezee kits, it seems most folk are getting problems with these kits , so Im assuming theres little change for the smaller wheel hubs either ?

thanks

gm's foldable bike, although not a 20'' wheel.

There are some folks here using a 20'' and 16'' Magic Pie and I haven't heard bad news from them.

GM also sells frog style battery pack, 36v 10ah.

The "Chopper" folding bike uses a 20" Magic Pie:

And you can see a young lady struggling to keep the front wheel on the ground due to its high torque, 6 1/2 minutes into this YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qT29cBJgng).
